Our Science this half term is all about animals in their habitats. Unfortunately our chances of catching zebras and gazelles migrating across Worthing Road rec are slim, so we decided to go for a minibeast hunt around school instead. We recorded what we found, drew the creatures we discovered and discussed the conditions these animals preferred (spoiler alert: it's generally damp, dark and dirty - basically, like a teenager's bedroom).
We used our discoveries to help with our designs for the bug hotels we are making in D.T. Find out more in our recent D.T. blog.
