Lyminster Primary School has an intake of 30 pupils each year and operates within the School Admissions Policy of West Sussex County Council.
Applications for a school place, whether ‘starting school’ for the first time, or an in-year transfer between schools must be made directly through the West Sussex County Council Admissions Team which operates an online and paper-based application system. If there are no school places at Lyminster in your child’s year group the Admissions Team also operates any waiting lists for the school.

You can apply for a starting school place from 9am on Monday 6 October 2025 until 11.59pm on Thursday 15 January 2026.
To make an application online, WSCC require you to have an email address.
WSCC require all applications to have a new account set-up on the Parent Portal, unless you have already set up an account, in which case you will need to log in.

You can save your application and return to it to make amendments before submitting it. You must ensure that you submit the completed application before the deadline of 15 January 2026.
