June 3 -7 is STEM Week at Lyminister Primary School. Click on the video below to view the launch assembly on Monday:
During STEM Week pupils' explored science kits designed by the staff to provide them with a range of equipment they can use to perform simple investigations and explore scientific concepts. Across the school and age appropriate levels pupils' were supported by the use of scientific vocabulary, concept cartoons and investigation starting points but the onus was on them to make their own choices and work with growing independence. The children spent this week exploring and discovering the world (everything) through their scientist eyes! And developed their scientific enquiry skills.
Have a look at some of the exciting science children took part in across the school!
